behavior expectations
The DRAGON ZONE is a school wide positive behavior system which includes four components:
RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, COOPERATIVE, and SAFE.
Examples of how to be in the Dragon Zone
RESPECTFUL
-Use kind words
-Listen to the person talking
-Share with others
-Raise your hand
-Remember the "Quiet Zone" (areas where we should stay quiet)
RESPONSIBLE
-Work hard
-Follow directions
-Get work done on time
-Clean up after yourself
COOPERATIVE
-Follow directions the first time
-Share with others
-Help others
-Take turns
SAFE
-Walk in the school
-Keep hands, feet, and body to yourself
-Push in chairs
Dragon Zone slips are handed out by any adult in the school (or on the bus!) for showing behavior that follows the Dragon Zone expectations. By getting a Dragon Zone slip, the student's name will be entered into a weekly drawing for a prize. One kindergartener will hear their name over the announcements in the morning and will get to go to the office for a prize.
